Year 11s make videos for MLE on C2

Today we filmed a video about Acids and Alkalies which we planned out ourselves. It went very well and we enjoyed doing every bit of it from preparing it to actually filming. We did an explanation about the subject and then we did an experiment showing how the indicator paper changes depending on the liquid it's been inserted into. We worked well as a team and we all had individual jobs which we all tried our best with and it turned out to be a good result. This was an enjoyable lesson where we learnt a lot, from working together to our speaking out loud skills. Demi, Lauren, Carly, Evie and Aiden :) xx

First blog!

Hello all. Having listened to an inspirational lecture on blogging, I've decided to give it a go! The Science team will be posting things of interest onto the blog to help you with your Science studies and show you there's an amazing world of Science out there beyond your School days.

One of my favourite places to go to for inspiration is TED. It's an online store of interesting speakers and talks. Some of it may be a bit grown up for younger pupils but there's lots there that's worth a watch.
